JUST AN UPDATE

now that i have a 'normal' job in nyc, i forsee consistent update on this blog. life so far was comforting. with oli around, one will never fret of getting bored.

for one, she introduced me poledance exercise and i'm already signed up for the beginner's class. we burn the tarmac at central park every alternate days. lunches and dinners are fun. saturdays are shopping trips and tourist-y stuff. oli was excited of the latter. funny that she's been in nyc for years and she has never gone to those tourist-y areas. we are likely head to sfo for the weekend to meet eddi up. :)

oli's place is where i'll be parking myself in nyc. touched down in jfk aat 2145 last night and reached manhattan at 2230. work will start at 0900 august 6th.

THE MONTH WHEN WE APPEASE THE GODS

it was shuuhei who suggested the trip that we should go together before i leave for ny. yes. weird isn't it knowing how shuuhei is. i reckon it was the last gion trip that triggered his fancy. ichiriki was added to his 'favorite place' despite declaring no interest towards geisha to dad.

i finally got my own slr to the save my time begging for his. and yes. we were snap-happy for that few days. too snap-happy.

FAMILY RESEMBLANCES

many have mentioned that shuuhei and hiro look alike. perhaps i grew up looking at their mugs most of the time so i could really tell the vast differences of them two. but not until when shuuhei showed me the recorded g no arashi episode where the boys were involved in the weird experiments done airborne. i could only tell them difference by the shirts they were wearing the other time! they looked like twins! and of course, i have girlfriends who had told me that the boys were cute and all but i never felt it. perhaps we grew up together and those picking on me sessions back then left me sour about them but after watching them on tv i'll have to agree with them. kamata boys are good-looking and hot. :)

KEIO KNOWS HOW TO PLAY

shin, you should open your own event management company. even the seniors reckon so. not only you took just two days to pull it together, you pulled it real tight. and the venue. the venue that's almost impossible for our generation to get in. i salute you. 100 times.

it's definitely good to see those familiar faces. and ah, yes. a face that i met before a year ago! it was definitely an interesting meeting.

how we rocked the place so hard was just really amazing. reaching home at 0500 had mom astounded. LOL

carmen and i dreamed of him and he had the similar message for both of us. i guess he knew that both of us needed much comfort to ease the sorrow and of course the strength to let him go. and those words left for us did give us the strength to do so.

so yes, people. i'm ready. :)

SOLACE

tokyo's been kind to me and okinawa comforted me. mt. mitaka trip with shuuhei was refreshing and having to spend a week in okinawa with mom was good.

his last words to me were still loud and clear to me. those 8 words gave me so much strength and they keep me going. it's just so weird to have finally accept that he's gone. carmen and i still talk over the phone in effort to make things easy for both of us.

friends are sweet and encouraging. i'm not ready but i'm definitely trying. give me just a little bit longer and i'll be back. yes i know, shin's been talking about on how to pimp me out. :)

DECIDED

i'll be posted to nyc this august for 8 months, instead of the planned deploy to east timor.

CURL ME UP AND FOLD ME AWAY

hello.

i thank you for those kind sweet comforting words and i'm sorry i had to withdraw from the world for a while. the two weeks in sydney was hard for everyone. many things were in need to be done and all of us tried to comfort one another. adrian dropped everything from singapore and flew back to sydney the moment the news was broke out to him. the sorrow was almost undescribeable.

one question keeps haunting me:

why did god take him away when he was the one who brought us together in the first place?
