shinpe flew to nyc without notice and spent a wonderful week with us. along with him, he brought wii so when we weren't out bar-hopping, we were engaged in boxing on wii. talking about bar-hopping, it was from au to barbes. never had i hopped onto so much of different scenes in a night!

oli's homemade christmas dindin was decadent that would put nobu in shame. a fusion of japanese and western indulge, oli made the best foie gras i've ever tasted.

new year countdown in times square was another different story. never had i thought i'd be counting down here. exactly a year ago, i was in karthoum with doug. it was a quite one with the rest of the team. this year, i had it all blown out. he'd loved nyc too.
